Good morning!
I made this card for some snowbird friends of ours! Snowbirds are those friends who head south for the winter! Most of the ones we know are retired teachers and head Sout at this time of year! Lucky!
I know I've used this layout before, but it seemed perfect again!
The card base is Baja Breeze, then a layer of Buckaroo Blue. The other colored layers are all dp from My Mind's Eye! They have such quality paper with great colors! This is from the Tres Jolie line. I embossed the snowflake layer with a new folder and by Cuttlebug. The striped layer is MME, and, Oops!, I just realized the next layer is the wonderful Bo Bunny dotted that I wrote about yesterday. The scalloped "frame" is also MME dp, sponged with Rose Red.
I stamped the two trees from Magnolia in black then colored them brown with a copic marker. The sky is sponged Soft Sky and the snowflake background (Magnolia) is stamped in Baja Breeze. Then Liquid Applique and stickles applied for winter sparkle! Really it is this beautiful in Western New York! (Right, Lisa!?)
This wonderful Traveler Tilda is colored with copics. Ribbon and corner pearls were added and my card was done! I hope you like it!
Source for all stamps: http://www.magnoliastamps.us/index.php
Copic markers used:
Blues: BG10 and BG72 (my favorites)
Browns: YG91, E35 (used for hair too)
Skin: E00, E02 and R20 for cheeks
Tree: E37
Any two light pinks will work for ribbons (In other words, I'm not sure which ones I grabbed!)
Thanks for visiting today! I really appreciate it!
Cheryl

This is the perfect card for those snowbirds (even though they miss the best part of our country)! Lovely Tilda! I have to try some of that liquid applique...I think I have some in my stash!
Cheryl, I just found your blog and love it! :) I'll put you on my Google Reader list so I can keep up with your wonderful creations. I've been debating about buying some of the products you've been using... the CHF background and some Papertrey ribbon - oh, and Copics. You may just push me over the edge! :)
Gorgeous!! I love your tree! I love the colors and the layout, just beautiful!
