LLCWWC22!

Also known as La-La Land Weekly Wednesday Challenge #22! This week the challenge is brought to us by Elena, the Red Haired Girl! Her challenge for us is to make a Fancy Fold Card, anything but a regular rectangular card! The La-La Land Craft blog has all the details! We hope you'll check them out!
I have a lot of pictures so I'll keep the words to a minimum! My card is a Criss Cross pocket card

Both pieces!
Running Clover is my stamped image and you can see her peeking out here! (Sentiment is from a retired SU set. The red paper is also stamps with SU stamps from my collection.

The insert with Clover close up!

The back of the Clover card all ready for a personal note!

And one more shot of the whole thing! Please be sure to check out the blog for the rest of the DT Fancy fold cards. Then you could head over to La-La Land to see the stamps-there's a buy three get one (of your choice) FREE!
I didn't get a reply to my POST here so am drawing another winner! This time the number drawn is NUMBER 8-That's Debbie x in Essex, United Kingdom! Congratulations!
Debbie, could you please email me at drowely6@stny.rr.com to claim your prize! Thanks!
Then on Saturday I'll choose the winner for this card and some Basic Grey paper.
So you can still enter by leaving a comment!
Thanks so much for coming by to see what I've been up to! If you're wondering about anything, please ask!
Have a great day! Cheryl

The Chill of Winter...

is warmed by new stamps! Angel's Landing is releasing some new digital images today and Judi has some really cute ones! Again!! In addition, it's a blog hop so you can see many cards and projects made with her new designs! If you've started here you may want to skip over to the Angel's Landing Blog for the official start. I decide to use these adorably dress polar bear friends on a Criss Cross box. This is a free template over at Nicole Heady's blog, Capture the Moment. I made it with chocolate cardstock and used pieces of Basic Grey's Figgy pudding to match the warm brown and cool turquoise that I used on my bears. I made the tag with SU stamps. My treat bag has M & Ms in it, but can't you just imagine this as a little package of hot chocolate and marshmallows. With a mug to go with it-what a great gift!!

I took a lot of photos trying to get a clear one! Didn't happen, though and I hope you can see how cute these guys are!

Colors used are: B00, B02, BG01, BG15
E93 and R0000 for cheeks
Browns-E30, E31, E33, E35, E25, E37 and E29
Thanks for stopping (and hopping) by today!
Your next stop is: The wonderful Jennifer Scull at Just Coffee and Stamps an ribbons and paper...
Enjoy your day!
(Thanks for letting me know that you appreciate seeing the colors I use!)

Wallaby Wednesday!

Good morning! Judi asked us to make a different kind of card from the usual. I decided on this Criss Cross pocket card. The tutorial is on SCS under resources. The list comes up in Alphabetical order. Just clikc and create! I've used the Wallaby from Judi's Aussie Animals download. They are all really sweet animals! I realized AFTER I finished mine how appropriate is was to use a pocket card for the Wallaby since they have a pouch, too! I'm not sure if they hop though and the sentiment on the back of my card insert says, "Hoppy Birthday!" (Okay, this is where I admit that I thought it was a baby kangaroo!) Judi has the images labeled in your download, I just didn't read!

Anyway this little guy was colored with my copic markers. The flowers are primas and the paper is SU's Purely Pomegranate and Pumpkin Pie-two favorites of mine lately!! I created the color behind the wallaby with the method I showed materials for in yesterday's post.

Here are a couple more views of him. Please click on the Angel's Landing link on my right sidebar to see the creations made by the other designers.
I'm so sorry, once again, I have made a card and misplaced the sticky note with the colors listed.
So I am going to guess a bit here:
E31, E35, E25, E93 (pink color), and E51 andYR00. I think that's pretty close.
Don't forget to check the Angel's Landing blog! New releases coming next week!
Have a great day! I'm off to meet my friend Lisa for some craft shopping!
