Good Monday morning! They get better because after today I only have one more Monday to get through before its' Summer!

Well, our challenge was to showcase how we color wood with our copics. I used Y21, E33, E35 and E37 for my wooden apple bucket. I also use the blender between colors. My white paper is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. the markers blend very nicely on it. I also like Papertrey White Select Card stock.
After I colored my image and cut it with the circle nestability, I left it in the die and use a 1 inch stencil brush in Adirondack Butterscotch for the area around the bucket. I was too lazy to make a mask so I just tried to keep the color on the edge. I used C1 and C3 around the image itself when I colored it. It kinda looks green with the addition of the yellow.
My card base is Kraft, followed by So Saffron and the the gorgeous Graphic 45 paper. The small dot is from Bo Bunny-they make every color! All layers are sponged with Distress ink in Walnut Stain. The red strip is Papertrey ink Poppy Red ribbon.
The image? Well, if you haven't seen it before is from Magnolia!
I got mine from
Magnolia-licious. I don't see the image there now, but please email Diana if you are interested in getting it! she'll help you out!
