It's Your Day!

Hi! Happy Friday! Yeah!! For my floral card I used the Small Pincushion flower from I Brake for Stamps. Now I did no research so I have no idea what color Pincushion flowers are! I decided I was going to color them orange from the start and then look for papers. The coloring went well on all three and I am happy with them.
I just couldn't decide on paper. I thought they would look good on a CAS card background by when they were laying on this Basic Grey (Curio) paper that I had out for something else I decided to go with it!
The die is made by Sizzix and mine came from Stampin Up.

Copic Creations Challenge-Pinks and Reds

Good morning and happy summer Saturday! It's going to be another hot one here in Western New York! Love it! (but, I can't BELIEVE that it's mid August already! How did that happen?) Our Copic Creations Challenge this time is to color pinks and/or reds and hearts. I used pinks, as I think you can tell! I'll mention that my sister has taught me to make these crocheted flowers! I have not tried it with embroidery floss yet because the fibers separate so much. But I've made several with crochet thread and I love them! You really can whip one up in under 10 minutes! It takes me that long (or longer) to look through my flowers to choose one! LOL!
