Heart Quilt!

Hello! Calling all quilters and stitchers or those (like me) who just LOVE quilts! Isn't this a great stamp?! This is HEART QUILT from I Brake for Stamps. I've linked to the whole page because there are MORE! My card base is black, then a layer of white, blushing bride and then the main image which is stamped on XPress it.
A close up of the quilt. The hearts are R24, R27 and R29. The quilt was colored in solid with R22 and then I used a little orange (don't remember which one~maybe YR16) and blended with the R22. I think you can tell how the orange is laid into the corners of the blocks.
You know I like making simple A2 cards, so I just tied some white satin around my image and added the layers mentioned above.
The image has lots of possibilities! Can't you just see it in red, white and blue! Or in spring colors? There are also so many places for you to add sparkle!
If you go to I Brake for Stamps to shop you can use my code SAVE10CHERYL to get 10% off your whole order.
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my card posted Tuesday! I still have not heard from CRICKET on the card and stamp so I may be choosing another reader soon!
Stay tuned!
Thanks much! Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, Your card is beautiful. Your wonderful colouring makes those quilt squares appear to have a bit of a puff just like a real quilt does. Hope you have a fabulous Friday, Nancy

What a gorgeous quilt creation. I love to see quilt patterns in paper art. My mom was a quilter and I many times helped her with the design element. She did all the sewing though as I was a nervous Nellie when it came to sewing.
