Hi! This is a great day for me! I'm organizing (well, starting to organize) my craft room and I checked my blog and saw that I had made 10,000 hits! Yippee! How could I not stop working and create a card! I HAD to! Sorry about the mess, Dave, I'll get back to my work soon!
Well, here's the card. This is waiting Tilda and I got mine from Magnolia-licious! I had colored this red and pink Tilda on Friday night as I was thinking about the Limited Supply challenge. I used Bo Bunny Valentine paper from a couple of years ago. The puffed looking heart behind her is cut from some of that dp. My card base is white and I used a layer of Pacific Point! This is the first time I have used that color. I'm not crazy about it, but my friend, Lisa has been so encouraging in many ways that I used it for her! Shout out to Lisa (lakind on SCS)!
Card details:
My Tilda skin is colored with my usual E00, E02 to shade and R20 for her cheeks. The browns are E31, E35 and E37 (hair and boots). Her red outfit is R46 around the edges, leaving some white in the center of each section. Then I used the blender pen around in the wihite area and touching into the red. This starts to fill it in a bit with a lighter color. After that I used R35 (coral) in that center area. finally, I added touches of R59 to darken in the shadowed areas. The pink on her scarf and mitten is R20. I left it white in the middle and then used the blender pen to smear the edges of my coloring. I used a spica pen on the shoelace thingies on her boots and a very dark brown for the laces. I made the bow, which I am not crazy about! and punched and added pearls to the
corners. This card is an unusual 4.25" x 5", but it seemed to work!
Fun to come!
PLEASE come back tomorrow. I have taken a picture of some of the giveaway stuff for reaching 10,000! More details tomorrow !
Ya'll come back now, y'hear!
Thanks! Cheryl
