Hello and Happy Mother's Day! My mother has been gone for almost 10 years and I miss her everyday. She loved spring and the flowers that we had growing all around the house. We were big vegetable growers in my family (grew our own meat, too!), but she and dad both loved flowers.
I used the tulip corner from Our Daily Bread along with the jar stamp and die. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Friendship Jar Spring Additions. I think I should have made a paper label and stamped on it, but the card is done now so I'll live with it.I decided a little stitching was in order to create a border since the card was quite simple. I think the whole thing looks a bit crooked in the photo, but IRL it really is straight ! Bad photographer! LOL!
And, a shot at an angle to show the dimension. The jar and flowers are raised.
Hope you are finishing the weekend doing what you want to do! I think I'll put off everything I should be doing and go out to the deck to read! Dave is fixing supper!
