Mo's DT blog hop! In Stitches

I hope my card doesn't have you 'in stitches'. When I thought I could complete this card on Wednesday night I wasn't planning on a blazing headache!! I had this adorable image of Eli colored, but had to put the card together and stitch.
That's where it fell apart! I never should have stitched my focal image because I botched it up horribly! It looks like Eli took over driving the sewing maching instead of his box!
Well, the image is super and here is the link to Eli on Mo's Digital Pencil Too!
If you're traveling in order you came here from Rosettes' blog and I bet you love what you saw there!
I have the colors, but just can't get them typed tonight. Will try to get it done tomorrow.
Now you can move on to some fabulous prjects by the other DT members as you move through the hop!
Next up is Lori and you'll want to see what beauty she has come up with!
Thanks for stopping by, I've been soooo happy with all my visitors this week!
Please remember you can go HERE to comment for a chance to win my Tilda Honey Bee project!
AND you can go HERE to win another card and a Tilda stamp!
With appreciation! Enjoy your day!
Cheryl

Well I love the card anyway. The stitching on the image doesn't bather me at all. If you hadn't told us, we wouldn't even have noticed it.
It's a very nice card.

Perfection! I've long loved this image but for some reason, I don't have it in my 94 plus Mo images-think I might just have to go shopping. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Cheryl, Even with so called "Blotched Stitching" your card is beautiful. If you want to see blotched stitching you should see mine sometimes! Hope your head feels better 'cuz I can identify with that too. Nancy

WOW ... would NEVER have noticed a problem with the stitching as the "errors" look intentional! ... Eli is DRIVING a BOX you know.

Your painting is the BEST!

Cheryl,

The card is beautiful and I wouldnt have noticed the stitching if you hadnt brought it to our attention.

Trust me, we have ALL had times when something doesnt work the way we planned and it bothers us that things arent perfect. No need to worry...you arent the first and you wont be the last to miss the mark with stitching or color outside of the lines or even glue something crooked. Its those little hiccups that make it more homemade and shows we are only human.

Keep up with your great work and thanks for sharing this card with us even if it wasnt up to your high standards. We love it!

Oh Cheryl, what a cute card! I love the image and the way it's colored! The dp is perfect...I love the diamond shaped paper! I actually really like your stitching, although I know what you mean about practicing! Mine leaves a lot to be desired! But the imperfections sometimes are what make the card unique and special! Great card!
