That's me, just chillin' as the 5 days off comes to an end! Back to work tomorrow! Oh, well, I like my job and the kids so all will be well! (That is, if my back didn't still hurt! Ouch!) I made this card for fun! I have so many snowman images and love each of them! This one had never seen ink so it was time!
I colored him with my copics and used Figgy Pudding from Basic Grey as my dp. The card base The sketch is from the JUGS challenge a few weeks ago.
Wow, it was actually their first challenge! Now they're on number nine! My friend, Lisa is one of the talented members of that team! (Waving "hi" to Lisa!)
Thanks for coming by to see what I've been up to! Off to create with my new Magnolia stamps (from Magnolia-licious) now!
Hugs, Cheryl

TWO projects!
This is very unusual for me! I'm not usually ahead enough to post two things at once! I had one final Autumn project that I wanted to show you and since it's officially Christmas season I thought I'd tuck it in here! See my Autumn Mum box below. While I've been waiting for my new Christmas Magnolia stamps from Diana (they came yesterday!!) I colored up this little Tilda from the Summer kit (but also sold separately due to its popularity) and put her on a chipboard ornament.
I cut the ornament from a medium thickness coaster. I used an Ellison die at school and cut it on the Ellison machine. This weight coaster does not cut with my cuttlebug. I traced, cut and glued some Cosmo Cricket paper onto the chipboard. I sanded the edges and then used distress tea dye ink on the edges followed by some matte accents glue and diamond dust glitter. Tilda is colored with copics and then mounted on dimensionals onto the chipboard. Her wings are sparkled up with Stardust stickles and her dress is painted with Angel Wings shimmerz paint. A few latte colored pearls and some Papertrey ribbon and she's ready for the tree. Very fun and easy to make!

The top of the box has one of the huge chocolate buttons from my Papertrey buttons. Love it!
Thanks so much for visiting today! We plan to get the tree out t0day and I hope to start creating with my wonderful new Magnolia stamps! This afternoon we are going to visit my SIL in the hospital. I can't thank you enough for the prayers said for her!
Wishing you an excellent day!

You're my Best!
Good morning and Happy black Friday! I won't be going out shopping today. I'm just happy to have the day off from work! I may do some shopping online, though! This adorable image is one of Mo's from Mo's Digital Pencil.
If you haven't been there lately I hope you can check it out. Mo has been very busy lately, and VERY creative, I might add! so many great new images to go with her previous drawings. This one comes with curly hair, too or you can get the boy images!
I used my homespun looking Basic Grey, Nook and Pantry paper to guide my coloring of the little girl's outfit. I used one of my homemade crocheted flowers for embellishment.
I printed the girl out in a smaller size so I could use her on a standard A2 size card, which is my personal favorite. I still had no trouble coloring her.
The colors I used are as follows:
bunny E43, E40 and E37
hair E33, E37 (shoes too)
E000, E01, E93 face and blush
BG10, Bg72
RV42, r05
Y02, E42
thanks for visiting today! Have a great day!

One for 'Fall like' card for today! Hope all Americans are having a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our plans are a bit differnt than what we expected. We were supposed to go to my brother and isister n laws, but her took her to the ER late last night because she hadn't been feeling well. She has heart problems (only 54!) so it's important to get checked out! So we'll stay put today and go to the hospital tomorrow Any prayers for Shelly are welcomed! I wanted to use up these MME punch out flowers so pulled out this terrific fall Tilda with her basket and colored her up! The other papers are Ripe Avocado, MME and Bo bunny. There is some pink, but it looks okay IRL! Honest!

Apple pie box
Good morning! I made this box using instructions my friend, Tracy Harp created for Cornish Heritage Farms. Here's an example on her blog Inky Doodles. Her goal was to create a box which would hold a small canning jar for all the homemade goodies she gives away at holiday time. I can imagine a jar of apple butter or apple jelly in this, but I'm not domestic in that way, so for me it would hold an apple cider candle or some other small gift!
I am struggling with getting my photos where I want them on my laptop so I hope you'll forgive the short post. I'm also on some pain drugs to help with my hip and back pain while they figure out what is causing it. I probably won't even make it through Dancing with the Stars!

I do have the colors jotted down, but will add them tomorrow. I also want to give a shout out to my friend, Lisa who is part of the JUGS challenge (Just us Girls). She chose the colors for the challenge this week and that is what guided my colors. Here's Lisa's blog, Kind Creations
Check it out!
And finally, I have a winner of last Monday's card for the Magnolia-licious accessories challenge. My winner is number 38, which is Jan Farnsworth. Jan, could you contact me at DROWLEY6@stny.rr.com

Thankful Bouquet
Hello and welcome to Thanksgiving (USA) week!
I'm sorry I've been absent a few days. I've continued to organize my craft room and it is coming along nicely! I can actually work in there now! We are having computer issues with the desktop which I use to load my pics and type blog posts. So... now I am completing this task on my laptop! Learning all over again! I've also had some horrible back and hip pain lately so that has slowed me down some. I think it's time to call the dr! I think this will be a Thanksgiving card, but really it could be for any occasion. I used the sunflower bouquet from a recent set by Papertrey Ink and a background paper I found (in my organizing!) made with an older SU background stamp. The dp is Bo Bunny double dots. I colored the image awhile ago, so I'm sorry I don't have the copic colors used this time.
Thanks for coming by! With all that I've mentioned above I've not been around to blogs as much as usual. I hope to do better this week with that! I miss all my inspiration!
Tomorrow I have a Magnolia project for you and I still must pick a winner for the Accessories card last Monday!
Thanks for coming by!

The Chill of Winter...
is warmed by new stamps! Angel's Landing is releasing some new digital images today and Judi has some really cute ones! Again!! In addition, it's a blog hop so you can see many cards and projects made with her new designs! If you've started here you may want to skip over to the Angel's Landing Blog for the official start. I decide to use these adorably dress polar bear friends on a Criss Cross box. This is a free template over at Nicole Heady's blog, Capture the Moment. I made it with chocolate cardstock and used pieces of Basic Grey's Figgy pudding to match the warm brown and cool turquoise that I used on my bears. I made the tag with SU stamps. My treat bag has M & Ms in it, but can't you just imagine this as a little package of hot chocolate and marshmallows. With a mug to go with it-what a great gift!!
I took a lot of photos trying to get a clear one! Didn't happen, though and I hope you can see how cute these guys are!
E93 and R0000 for cheeks
Browns-E30, E31, E33, E35, E25, E37 and E29
Thanks for stopping (and hopping) by today!
Your next stop is: The wonderful Jennifer Scull at Just Coffee and Stamps an ribbons and paper...
Enjoy your day!
(Thanks for letting me know that you appreciate seeing the colors I use!)
You can still comment HERE to win the card and who knows what else!?

Autumn Wishes Tilda
Hi all! Wow! I'm thrilled to have had so many visitors yesterday! Thanks for all the sweet comments! If you asked a question I will get back to you, I promise! You can still comment on yesterday's Accessory post to win the card and some other "stuff" until Friday night, November 20.
I promised a Tilda today and this is she! My card base is chocolate. The dp is a foil sheet from K & co and then some of the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg that has a wood grain. Tilda and the sentiment are on dimensionals.
The Autumn wishes sentiment and the log are also from Magnolia-licious. I see that the log is available now. I think I'd like to do a seasonal set with a using this layout but with a different Tilda on the log for each season! I can just see one of the Winter Tildas now!
I've used one of my ovals for behind Tilda, kind of like a harvest moon, I think! I cut the oval and leave it in the nestability. Then I use a 1" stencil brush to add color to the edges. If your pad is really "inky" just dust it off on some scrap paper to keep the color light and soft.
Tilda is colored with my copics and I was thrilled with the color I got on the oak leaves!
the colors I used are;
R17, YR18, E08 and R59 for the leaves with some R0000 for blending
Y21, Y17, Y38 and YR04 for the mums
Yg91, Yg95, YG99 for the greens
E43, E25, E47 and E50 for blending her suede boots
Y21, E99, E32 for her hair
W1- W3, W5 for her top
and the usual E000, E93 and E01 for her face. I added a tiny bit of E43 and blended like crazy for a darker look on her forehead.
I didn't keep track of the shades of E for the log. Sorry.
Well, there's still more to come this week with an Angel's Landing blog hop and release tomorrow and a Mo's Digital Pencil blog hop on Thursday. Our theme is Precipitation Inspiration and for once my card is already done!
thanks for visiting!

Accessories make the card!
Hello!
Yep, we're making our cards with accessories ONLY! It's a Magnolia-licious Blog Hop with that "theme" in mind! I cannot wait to see what the other designers have done! I expect the cards will all be so different from each other! If you came here from very talented Sharon Caudle's Blog . If not, you may want to jump back and start at the fabulous Jacque Beddingfield's blog and roll from there!
Here's mine! I used Winter Trees which is a very large stamp of three trees. I love the versatility of it. I stamped it once, colored the trees I wanted and then cut them out to place the way I wanted on my oval. The cute little bird is also from Magnolia-licious and you get TWO of them! this is the smaller version. You will certainly want to head over and see the new Ecommerce store! The opening will look the same, but once you click on Shop, you will love how user friendly Diana has made it!

Thanks for traveling by! I'm right here at the end of the hop so I hope you have a chance to check out Diana's new store. She has the Halloweeen stamps (the new ones!) on sale right now!
Have a great day! Be back tomorrow with an Autumn Tilda!
Cheryl
Edited to add: I have already had some lovely comments! I would love to send this card and some other goodies to someone who leaves a comment by midnight November 20 ET-well I'm never up at midnight so you'll have a few extra hours!

Give me a brake!
Hi stampin' friends!
Today is the 15th of the month and that means another Copic Creations challenge! This time it is "GOLD" I suspect Mary intended the metal gold but I interpreted it as the color gold. Artistic license, I guess! So here is my Golden Bouquet! Now the reason for the mispelling of "Break" is because our generous sponsor for the challenge is "I Brake for Stamps"
Della is the super nice and super speedy owner and she sent us all the images we requested AND she is giving our winner (randomly chosen on the 30th of November) Two sheets of rubbah of their choice! WOW! AND she will add in a third sheet if the winner happens to have used an image from I Brake for Stamps! She has over 3000 images in rubber!
Please see the Copic Creations blog for the other designers FABULOUS creations and some link to tips on coloring GOLD.
For my golden colors I have used shades of Yellow and Yellow Red
Y32, Y17, YR15, Y08, Y38, YR16, YR68, YR0000, E08 and the other colors I chose are; E33, E37, E42, BG10, B0000, YG91, YG93, YG97 and YG99.
Our cats are healthy one year olds and vaccinated after our visit to the vet yesterday. There was a woman there who was crying and about to put her sick older pet to rest. I know all too well the emotions she was feeling and I'm sure many of you do as well. Remember to appreciate the furry family members today and give them a hug (or an extra treat!).

Henry and Snowflakes!
Good Saturday morning! Before I head out with the cats for the vet I wanted to get a card posted! I'm so happy that my number of followers is growing and to all loyal who came by this week and didn't see much new! I'm crazy over Whiff of Joy's Henry Mouse and think I've bought ALL the Christmas ones. I wish they hadn't put holly in the skiing, skating and cocoa ones because then they could be used more easily all winter. Oh well, maybe there are more Henry's coming!
Anyway, I've colored Henry with the warm grey tones (colored him awhile ago so I have to see if I wrote colors down later). I use E93 for the peach tones on him and my favorite Blue greens (Bgoooo, BG10 and BG72). the dp is Signature Suite from My Mind's Eye quite awhile ago. It really has some nice rose colors in it and I'm afraid they photographed brown.
The snowflake punch is new from Martha Stewart-called Snowfall and comes in a set with the corner punch. Love it! (And paid too much for it!)
Of course you recognize the brilliant Anna Wight's glitter snowflakes. Anna said last year that she was addicted to her Crystal snowflakes! so am I!! Here is the post where she goes through how to make them Anna Wight-Sweet Miss Daisy
I found the glitter glass on ebay at the time and still have lots! It has never cut me (in case you are wondering as I was) I make a "batch" of different sized snowflakes all at once and then have them to pull from when I need them. You will discover how to get different colors by using different base papers and different sponging.
There is so much going on next week! I have a card to finish for the Copic Creations challenge (tomorrow! Yikes!). Monday is a Magnolia-licious Blog Hop that we hope you will attend! Wednesday is an Angel's Landing blog hope with NEW digital releases and Thursday is a Mo's digital Pencil Design Team blog hop! Wow! I'd better get going!
Have a wonderful Saturday! I'm remembering to be grateful for all my blessings today and I count you among them!

Waiting for Winter?!
Not me, but I think Tilda is! I didn't mean to neglect my blog for so many days. My craft materials are in a shambles due to an attemt to organize my supplies. The big question is, "Why, oh, why do I buy so much paper!!?"
This is one of my favorite winter Tildas and I have used her often. Diana has her in the store now and you can also see some other cards made with her at Magnolia-licious. There is a huge inventory of Magnolia stamps at great prices!
Anyway, I decided to make a card for the Friday Sketchers sketch and this is it. It's pretty simple really and I wish I could figure out where I could put a cream colored bow-maybe in the upper left for balance?

My Mag is colored with copic markers. The paper is one of the Cosmo Crickets Christmas designs that came from my stash. The 5.5" square card base is soft suede. Then there is a layer of Ocean Tides (PTI). The Spellbinders Fleue de Lis Pendant is cut from Confetti Cream. Most layers are sponged with Tea Dye distress ink. In the corner is one of the Glitter Glass snowflakes created by Anna Wight. I made up a stash of them this morning so you will be seeing more of them. I have the directions and will get them linked up in my next post (Promise!)
Okay guess that's it except for the colors. they are as follows:
E000, E01, E93
E33, Y21, E08, E27, E77, E99
BG0000, Goooo, BG10, BG72, YG63, YG99, E42 ( I used a lot of colors to get a match for the paper (sort of). I use E42 to "dirty it up"
Thanks to all the servicemen and women who have fought for our freedom, past and present!
In our home, we are so grateful to you!

Uh oh! Sam's in TROUBLE!
Hi! Here's a card I finished the other night, but needed better light to photograph. It still isn't as crisp as I would like, but I wanted to show it to you! This is Sam, who is in trouble (again!)! He was recently added to Mos' inventory of awesome digital stamps. You will find him in Mo's Store HERE.
I printed him onto Neenah Classic crest white in a small size so I could put him on a regular A2 size card. The dp is from Cosmo Cricket awhile back. The sentiment is handwritten (yes, in blue pen! What was I thinking?!) and punched out with the SU small oval punch. buttons are from Papertrey Ink.
I think I could use this for a late birthday card or just for fun! I know my sister might appreciate it because she went through this with her son a long time ago! She could laugh about it now!
thanks so very much for visiting! I love reading your comments and appreciate each one.
Have a great Saturday!

Edwin or Santa?
Good morning! This is the card I made for our Magnolia-licious November sketch. No one has more Magnolia-liciousness in her than our Kerry! she created this sketch for us and isn't it great! Love a card where I can use 3 patterns of paper! Thanks, Kerry! Details are at the Magnolia Highlites blog. Please join the design team and create your own card with this sketch for the chance to win a Magnolia stamp from Diana! There are some new Santa images coming from Magnolia to Diana's store. This is a "Santa" from last year. Or, I think it could be Edwin because he actually has JEANS on!! I decided to color them red anyway, but I'm thinkin' maybe it's Edwin dressed as Santa?
My card base is Kraft card stock and the dp is from a small pad by DCWV that I got at JoAnn's. I love the rich colors and teal with red and green! Oh, my, it's great! I used some SU snowflakes from a couple of different sets and there's lot of SU glitter on his tree. (I just couldn't get a good picture this morning!)
The tag is cut from cardboard on my cuttlebug with a Sizzix die that has three sizes of tags. I just sponged the edges with distress ink.
My card is 5X 5". Colors are listed below.
Note to Jenn-thanks for asking about the snowflakes. I don't know how to contact you, so I will look for Anna Wight's post on how to make them and post it here as soon as I get the chance! 'kay?
Have a great Thursday!!
Cheryl

Get Well Puppy
Good morning! There sure is a lot of sickness going around! I have many friends that I could send this to! (But the way I roll, it'll never leave the house!) The image is from Stampavie and I got mine at 7 Kids College Fund. I just love the pup with the hurt leg and that great chair! The floral paper is the same October Afternoon that I've been using. this time it's paired with Bo Bunnie's double dot paper. It changes the whole look when it's put with tan and brown! Love that!
If you aren't feeling well, I hope you are better VERY SOON! And if you are well, go on and have a great day!
Thanks for visiting! Cheryl

Good morning! I started and finished this card yesterday! I had to because it is to showcase our Copic Creations Challenge for the next two weeks, which is to color red hair with your copics! We'd love for you to join in! Wow! I just checked and the prize is for a $35.00 gift certificate to 7 Kids college fund!! What a prize! You have until midnight on Nov. 14 to enter your piece of art! This is "Dinner Tilda" from the Yummy for your Tummy collection at Magnolia-licious. she is number 388. I've dressed her in "green velvet" and given her shoes to match her hair! (Just couldn't resist!). I'm not sure I like the rest of the card but want you to know I used paper from Karen Foster, Basic Grey and Graphic 45-love the rich cream with green and dark red! I just got some charms from ebay and the ribbon from No Time to Stamp's Sharon Johnson.
Here are the copic colors I used:
Hair (and shoes!) E13, E15, E17 and E18
skin the usual- E93, E000, And E01
Blouse E91 and blender
Outfit YG93, YG97 and YG99 with a little YG0000 for blending.
There are gold spica dots on her outfit for a little extra dressiness!
Thanks for visiting! Please check out the fabulous projects from the rest of the Copic challenge Team! (Link above and on Sidebar)
