Finally! A Post! AND it's a Magnolia!

Good Saturday morning! I have FINALLY finished a card for you! It was a long week and for two days I had one of those killer sinus headaches! It was enough just to get through the work day. I just couldn't get myself to stamp. I've missed you, though! The copic training with Marianne Walker was a fabulous day of learning, laughter and sharing Oh, and then a little shopping!) I really enjoyed spending time with Lisa, Tracy, Sharon, Lynn, Laura and Marty! Marianne's got some amazing talent and for her to share some copic techniques was inspiring! (Hurry up, summer so I have more time!)

Okay, my card! This is Tilda with Lamb (no kidding!). I've listed the copics below. The card base is white. The SU paper is Navy and the dp is Basic Grey Marrakesh from the 6x6 pad. I stamped the grass behind her with Mellow Moss and True Thyme (remember True Thyme?) and I used my stencil brush in PTI's Aqua Mist and Ocean Tides to make this robin's egg blue spring sky. The tiny sentiment is from one of those huge SU sentiment sets and I stamped some PTI leaves on the white in blush blossom.
I think the bow is a little big, but it was so pretty that I didn't want to tear it apart! It meant that I had to skip any other embellishments. I don't have shimmer, sparkle or fuzz on it, but I think I may have to look for my Fun flock in white and add it to the lamb.
I almost always cut my Tildas out allowing for the option to raise them on dimensionals which I did. I use little Cutterbee scissors that I got (with a coupon) at JoAnn's. If they have white between their feet I just cut up the side of one shoe and leg to cut the white out. It doesn't show on the finished card and I think it just looks more finished. The exception is the little white spot by her shoulders on this image. I just couldn't cut up the hair and arm to get to it so I left it alone.
Thanks to Diana at Magnolia-licious I own this adorable stamp! Hi, Diana. She has just posted the pictures and a special bundle offer on the NEW Butterfly Collection from Magnolia! You gotta see it!!
copics used: E000, E01, E40, E31, E33, E47, E25
R12, Y32, R32, B41, B95
Thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry I was so wordy. I guess that's what not blogging for a week will do to a person!
Have a wonderful Saturday! Cheryl
