Just Us Girls 291- WORD WEEK

                                          Hello friends!  It's my turn to host on the Just Us Girls team and I have a fun and easy challenge for you this week! The word is TWINE!  Sometimes ribbon can give us fits with trying to get the bow to look right, but not TWINE! It's thin for mailing and just adds a great look to a card! Did you get tons of colors when it became popular like I did?  Well then, let's get going!  Here's some inspiration for you on our BLOG.

           I made a set of cards to give a friend for her birthday and added twine to several of them.  So, bear with me, I have a few photos for you.  I used PTI products-Brushed Blooms stamp set and Cover Plate dies.  The grey cardstock is also PTI (Smoky Shadow?) as well as their basic white cardstock for my card bases. It's so nice and thick-makes the card a substantial piece of art.  So, here are my cards:
And another;
 okay, this one doesn't have twine (I should have added it to the flower stem), but I wanted to share!  this is Paula's b-day card and I boxed the rest up and put a bunch of the ovals in a little bag, so she can add the sentiments she wants when she uses the cards!

Thanks for looking! Please do click on the Just Us Girls blog link above to see all the DT inspiration and then join us this week in the challenge to use TWINE on  your card!
You have until Thursday, May 7 at 9:00 pm to add your card with Mr. Linky.
Thanks and have a great weekend,Cheryl
