Hi! Does Blogger make anyone else crazy!! I'm typing this post for the second time. I had to delete the first because it wouldn't schedule and then it posted! ARgghh! Had to hit delete! Anyway, Sue has a great challenge for us this week! there's a great video from Becca HERE And the JUGS blog is HERE!
The challenge is inked die cut edges. My first problem was that I don't have any of the recommended inks! But I didn't let that stop me! I used my new SU Coastat Cabana to see what would happen. It worked! I did touch up the edges a bit with a copic marker, I admit, but mostly it worked.
My tag die is from Taylored Expressions. The felt is from PTI, but I wish I had a Cherry Cobbler red. I have to do some searching for that. I used my MFT rose dies for the flowers (pearls in the center) and a PTI leaf die. The die that is edged is from Spellbinders. the woodgrained kraft tag is made with SU's embossing folder. I've tied my tag to a brown gift bag with lots of rustic twine in aqua and brown. IMHO this is prettier in real life. My camera does not photograph red very well. Sorry 'bout that!
Well, once again we hope you'll join us in the challenge and try this! You have until Thursday, Feb 12 at 9:00 pm ET to enter yours. Our Chics of the Week have a chance to be our guest designer in an upcoming month!
Have a great day!~ Cheryl
