Hi friends! Thanks to those of you who hang in there with me when I don't get posts (and Cards!) done as often as I'd like!! I {{heart}} you!
I finally inked up a great Stampin' Up set called Snow Much Fun! I love snowmen stamps!! Do you have a lot of them too? Quick and easy to color! This card was a case of a Karen Barber (I think!) card on Splitcoast. Give credit where credit is due!
I used PUrely Pomegranate (a color I think SU should bring back!) for my card base. Then a layer of black, then my fav new color-Pool Party! Pool party is stamped with SU snowflakes from past in Snow Cap and then some in
Baja Breeze. The BB ones have stickles added after. I also sponged the edges of the PP layer in Soft Suede. The 'snow' is a layer of torn water color paper. The snowman is colored in copics and cut out. I curve my cut outs a bit and then glue them down for some dimension. I hope you like this simple card of mine which could be for Christmas or for a thank you card after!

Ahhh Cheryl - you worry too much! You post when you can! Heck I've been posting about once a month, lol -- life is just too busy sometimes.
Your card is so cute - I haven't looked an a SU catalog in years - is this a newer set? Or the old Snow Fun set? I love snowmen & must have them ALL :)

Love your card. I know there are not enough hours in the day to get it all done and still carve out time for our passions! Christmas break is coming soon- not as long as usual- but a break nonetheless!!
Wonderful - I love the way you did your snow! Now I will really have to use that wonderful idea. Wish I had known about it when I made my grandson's birthday card!
