I decided to go truly "black and white" with my images! This was very popular a year or so ago and I never tried it then. I'm so glad I did now!! what fun! and I love the results!! This is #103 COOL EDWIN from the recent Sweet Rainbow collection. Mine is the regular size but he is also available in Mini! My POP of color is actually Two colors and I hope I'm not in too much trouble for that! I used Papertrey Ink Hawaiin shore and Daffodil from Stampin Up for my Sunflower.AND NOW KEEP GOING 'CUZ I MADE TWO CARDS!!
Here's my girl viersion in the person of TILDA WANTS A HUG! (I'm sorry, I don't know the number) Black and white lend themselves to artsy creations and that's what this one is, I think! I used a scrap of plaid and some black marker lines to help balance the flowers and Tilda. Showing so much white card base is really strange for me!
And, in close up~Tilda and then the flowers!
Colors are pretty easy! I used a tutorial from Katie Cotton (video) and the markers W1, 3, 5, 7 and 9!Now, off you to to PATTI JO! I know she will have something special to inspire you!

Love Edwin in black and white. I have never tried using just b/w combo but since I love to draw in pencil I will give this a try. The sunflower really pops!

These are VERY VERY STUNNING!!!!!!!! The colors really do pop.. They almost just right out and grab you!! ANd then your coloring is ALWAYS ALWAYS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

Darling cards! Great to have both a female and male card version of the black and white card. All the straight lines along with the ovals on the Edwin card is very interesting. Your coloring and shading of blacks, grays, and white is wonderful.

Your cards are beautiful and I'm sure they will forgive you for using two colors. It is well worth it. I adore those sunflowers. Interested to know what punch or die you used for the sunflowers? Is is a Spellbinder die? Love the black and white,grey coloring.

Cheryl, ooh, these cards are fabulous. Your B&W colouring is over the top. I’ve never tried it myself. I don’t think I’m brave enough to do it, as I suck at colouring black…LOL. Your flowers are to die for. Would love to know how you made them. Is there a tute?
