Good morning! I have a Sweet 'n Sassy card to show you today! This is Springtime Cocoa and I think he's soooo cute! Here he is peeking around a rock to send get well wishes! Here's the link to the Cocoa Page over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. There are so many cute images and sets, including digital images for only 3.00!
I used paper from the My Mind's Eye pad called Gertie from the Stella Rose collection. The bright primary colors were a great match for the copic colors I used on my image.
I used the following markers in coloring:
E50. E31, E25 and R30 for cocoa
C1, 3, 5 and 7 for the rock
R14 and 59 for the reds
Y18, 35 and 38 for the petals
YG21 and 25 for the grass and leaves
B0000 and Bg10 for around the image
This is my final post as guest designer for the always adorable Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Thank you to Janette and Korin for allowing me to design with your stamps this month! Big hugs!
Have a wonderful day!

Happy Day! Happy Tilda!
Hello! I want to thank you so much for visiting today! I'm sorry it's been so long between postings! While I was off work last weekend I had some fun (shopping) and had much to do to prepare for the upcoming (this weekend!!) Spring Fest 4-a day of stamping with others who are obsessed with this hobby and I am HAPPY to call them my friends! This card has some of the elements of the Shoebox Swap card I am preparing for the event on Saturday!
I found this background in my stash of unfinished elements. It is a background I created with the sympathy set from Papertrey Ink. When I came across it (cleaning the studio!) I knew which Tilda would be perfect for it! This is #313 MINI HAPPY TILDA from the Magnolia-licious store! She is colored with copics (very early this morning) and I see I need to do a little more blending on her outfit! LOL!
Anyway, then I used this leaf image from Papertrey Ink. After stamping it in Adirondack lettuce I added some darker green copic marker to shade the leaves. The aqua plaid is a scrap I found and I think it is from an October Afternoon pad.
Wishing you a wonderful day as I head off to work!
Hugs, Cheryl

Springtime Tulips
Hi! Well these tulips by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are just about the only sign of spring around here! We had snow today! April 18, Really!?! All anyone talks about is the weather and the Sabres! Go, Sabres! These are the tulips that are part of the set I showed you last week on a sympathy card with just the sentiment. These tulips are drawn beautifully and are so versitile! This card could be for Easter, birthday or sympathy. Here is the LINK for a peek at the set. This image is also available as a single digital image!
The rest of the card is pretty simple- I used a grey card base and some of the early PTI dp in a 6x6 pad. Not even any stickles!
Thanks for looking today! I appreciate it!
Happy birthday to my friend Lisa Kind over at One of a Kind Creations! She would love if you stopped by to say hello!
Have a great day! Cheryl

Pretty Pallette #5 Guest!
Hello! I have a box to show you today! I made it to go with the colors Lisa Kind chose for the Pretty Palette #5 Challenge! She chooses awesome colors for the challenge and posts on Sunday each week! We'd love to have you join us in #5-Green, Orchid and White-the colors from the logo Lauren uses at My Time Made Easy. This shot makes it a bit difficult to tell that it is a box, but I'm more challenged that usualy when I try to photo 3D items! This great template is called Creative Card Candy . And when you buy this template pattern and directions you also get a small square box template! Neat! This box is 7.5" x 3.5 inches!
My wrap around is made in green cardstock and the one inch deep box is made from orchid cardstock. I used MME for the cover stitched to some purple cardstock. I kept my nestabilities label in the die and ran it through the Grand Calibur with an Impressabilites plate. Tilda (#356 WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE) is colored with my copics and cut out and raised on thin dimensional pieces. I used Scor-tape to make this very sturdy box hold together well.
E000, E11, R30 and E00 for her skin.
E50, Y23, E25 and E37 for her hair
E34, E37 for her boots
V01, V12, V15 and V17 for her dress and the flowers
G20 and YG93 for the green leaves and Y23 and YR12 for the paper on the flowers.
Thanks for coming by! We hope you will give some thought to these colors and join us in the Pretty Palette Color Challenge!

Sweet Tilda with Balloon (mini!)
Hello and Happy Friday!! One more day to work and next week off! Can't wait! I kept looking at this card and trying to decide what else it 'needed' and I finally decided on nothing! I think sometimes less is more. I wanted the focus on the image and on my spellbinder's label so I quit and took my photos! I hope you like what I've done. This is #294 TILDA WITH BALLOON in mini form. This is one of my favorite stamps from my favorite collection, You Are So Special. Diana has a new Store Credit program that you won't want to miss out on! Please remember that you have a few more days to get your entries in for the Magnolia-lcious Easter/Spring Extravaganza contest! And there's a category for Minis and a combo of mini and full size has been added! I have to track down my colors on this image, but will edit and add them when I do! Promise~!
In the meantime, for those who wondered the Sizzix embossing folder on the last two posts comes in a set of two and is called Country and Flowering Foliage Set. I got mine at Buffalo Stamps and stuff so I don't have an online source.
Well, I must get to work! Have a wonderful day!

Thoughts and prayers
Hello! Sympathy cards are really challenging for me. I usually end up buying them, but it seems like I've needed a lot of them lately. I got my inspiration from the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast this week. The sentiment is from a Clear set over at Sweet 'n Sassy stamps, called Springtime Tulips. It's very popular right now to stamp your sentiment on a nestability shape and use it as your focal point. I think the monochromatic flowers accentuate the sentiment very nicely. And, yes, that is the same Sizzix embossing folder that I used in the last post. I've been running them through my Grand Calibur and, WOW, does it ever make a deep impression! My flowers and leaves are various punches from River Rock with the leaves sponged with a bit of Certainly Celery.
Here's the link to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog for daily inspiration from the great design team! Thanks for coming by today! Wishing you great things today!

Tilda (the unknown)
Hi stampers! Thanks for not deserting me! It was a very busy week! Before I start, does anyone have a name for this Tilda? I can't find her anywhere! (And she's so cute!) Edited to add: Okay, this is CHERRY TILDA, and thanks to Kathy for her quick response! I used the Just Magnolia sketch for the week. It has a lot of design elements and I think I represented each one. It was a little tough because I hate covering the base paper that is so pretty! The paper is a new 6 x 6 pack from Prima called Madeline. I used the following copics to color her: skin R30, E000, e11 Hair E50, E31, E35, E25 and a little Y23 shoes E35, E25, E29 dress BG0000, BG10. I added a little BG18 to her head scarf and blended with BG0000 Cherries, R81 R85 and R59 Guess that's it for today! Have a good one-I hope to get lots done this afternoon before another week starts! Hugs, Cheryl Please rememer that the Spring/Easter Extravaganza Contest is open for entries until April 19! Details are here!! Magnolia-licious Highlites

There is a blog hop in her honor starting at the Sweet 'n Sassy blog so head on over to hop through and maybe even leave your good wishes for Korin! I've used a new release of Cocoa (the adorable mouse)! This one is from Springtime Cocoa, but I've linked the whole page so you can see them all.

Congratulations!
Hello stampers! I have a card two days in a row! While I had those My Mind's Eye papers out (Quite Contrary Collection) I kept going with this bridal shower card. As soon as the glossy accents and stickles are dry I have to get it into an envelope! I need it for a shower this afternoon, 'cuz my nephew is getting married!! I used the My Favorite Things set called My Umbrella and sentiments from PTI. The inside says, 'Wishing you Showers of Blessings'. I used YG21, YG91, 93 and 95 for her coat. Her skin is E000, E11, E00 and R30. Her boots are R81,83,85 and 89. The umbrella is paper pieced and then shaded with C7 and a blender. To surround the image I used BG0000 and BG10. That's about it! Now I have to go get the gift wrapped to go with the card! Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your day! Cheryl Magnolia Lovers: Please remember to enter the Easter/Spring Extravaganza with your projects to win up to 150.00 to spend in the Magnolia-licious store! Today is the day for Sunday Sensations on Jacque's blog AND Diana has new minis in the store from the You Are so Special Collection!

Love you 'Mower!'
Hi and happy, happy Saturday! We have chilly temps but SUNSHINE this morning! Soon we'll me mowing lawn! Well, not ME exactly! But, Dave will! LOL! This is Mowlene! She is one of the Humorous Seniors from I Brake for Stamps! Funny, huh? Scroll down the page I've linked to find her. I used the Newest Items page to look for her and I loooove those new bears at the top of the page! You can always use my code SAVE10CHERYL to save 10% on your stamp order!
She was very fun to color in that sexy little outfit! The pinks are R81, 83 and 85. The greens are TG91, 93 and 97.
Here skin (which she is showing plenty of!) is E000, E11 and a little E00 for blending them together. My dp is from MME (last year). I computer generated the sentiment though I know it is out there in a stamp because I have seen it on Tracy Harp's and Lisa Kind's blogs. The edge of the picture looked a little bare so I popped those pearls on there!
Remember when we had to rip cards apart to add brads after a card was done! Love the self adhesive embellishments!
Well, I've got to get some other things done today and actually hope to do a little REAL sewing, on fabric, not card stock!
Have a marvelous Saturday! And thanks for coming by to see me!

No Foolin'-New Magnolia-licious Monthly challenge!
Hello! I'll make this a quick post and edit later today when I'm finished with work for the weekend! Yeah, come on weekend! The Magolia-licious Highlites post is up and ready to go with a new challenge-Edwin and Tilda together forever! Sharon Caudle (amazing girl!) has asked us all to make cards with Edwin AND Tilda on them! There are some awesome design team samples for inspiration on the Mag Highlites blog! I've pulled out the mini image of Tilda and Edwin. It's number 334 in mini and full size in the STORE
I've used great vintage papers from Basic Grey (Curio) and the die is from My Favorite Things. I love how this card came out and I think my favorite part is that it is all color-no white. My bg dies are in a confetti cream.
Thanks for looking and now I must leave you for work! There's lots to do there too!
Wishing you an excellent day!
Hugs, Cheryl
