Copic Creations Challenge-Brunette Hair

Good morning! This card is for today's Copic Creations Challenge and wouldn't you know I would finish it in time, but that it would be rainy so I can't get a decent picture! Instead I took a ton of "less than great" pictures! Hope you can get an idea of the card. I like it very much, except for the mistake on her dress ( I thought the copic black pen wouldn't bleed!) I am going to make her a different dress to fix the problem!
Anyway, our challenge is to color brunette hair with your copics! Here are the details as well as some great tutorials and color combinations from the other designers!
Did you go there? Well, if you did you noticed that our sponsor this challenge is from the Great Scor-Pal designer, Diana Crick! I LOVE her!
The prize is a Scor-Pal!!!! You gotta join in this challenge and post a card!
Someone (Diane!) once said to me, " I use my Scor-Pal on every card!" I thought, no way! But, now, I can honestly say that, too! I can't bring myself to fold a card base without having a score line made by my Scor-Pal!
I also use my Scor-Mat all the time! Since she is our sponsor, I used a Magnolia stamp that came to me from her Magnolia-licious store!
My brunette hair does not quite compete with the beautiful creations of the DT, so I also decided to make the kind of card that you NEED a Scor-Pal for! The Tri-shutter card. It is really easy and such a WOW! kind of card!
Here is the link to the directions by Bonnie!
Be sure to check out her blog! She did two different styles-mine is the one with the full card front. This type of card was showcased on the Technique Lovers challenge on SCS on May 18 and you can see other great samples HERE!
Okay, now for a couple more bad pictures and some details! My card base started with a 12X12 sheet of SUs Naturals Ivory. You need the 12" to get three four inch panels. The dp is what I LOVE about this card! The peach, sparkly plaid is from My Minds' Eye. Laundry Line, Sundress"Sweetness" and the shell paper is Gorgeous too! It is from Carolyn Holt Designs and made by Paper Adventures. It's called Island Lagoon Seashells. I got mine at my LSS!
Tilda's hair, which is the point of this whole post (but you wouldn't know it!) is colored with Y21, E35 and E37. Her dress is paper pieced so there wasn't much coloring except for her skin which is E000, E01 and E93.
I used my faux background technique-a juicy ink pad and stencil brush! the inside has images from an old SU beach set and the sentiment, "In summer, the song sings itself" is from Papertrey Ink's, Vintage Picnic set.
Oh yes, and the Sand castle is an old one from Magnolia! Isn't it great! I'm contacting Diana today to ask her about ordering this for her store! ETA: Diana DOES have this stamp! See it here: Magnolia-licious

Well, if you got this far, thank you so much! I'll try to be back more frequently! I'm approaching 50,000 hits and think I might have an extra stamp or two to give away when I get there!

Have a wonderful day and be sure to check out the fabulous creations by the Copic Creations team AND join in the challenge by July 14!

And what a great plug for the Scor-Pal. I clearly don't use mine enough, so that will have to change. Love this image and love your card!!
