Christmas in July and YOU get the presents!

Good morning! The Magnolia-licious group is posting a Christmas in July challenge today! Suzanne has all the details on the Mag Highlites Blog! BUT, before you go take a look keep reading to see my 50,000 hit Blog Giveaway!!
BLOG CANDY BELOW!

This is Tilda #296 Tilda wearing Yule cap! She is one of my favorites. she is sitting another great image, #564, Large sled. Both are available in Diana's store! I used her for some holiday cards last year on the large ornament. See this POST
to get an idea of her versatility. This time I used her with Cosmo Cricket paper, Jolly by golly. I used Pink Pirouette (retired) from SU with some very old Mint Green that SU used to have and I think the colors worked well. The snowflakes are some I learned to make last year from Anna Wight, sweet Miss Daisy. I'll check for the directions and edit them in later.

Okay, now for my Giveaway for my Loyal, terrific, talented Blog Readers:

Here it is, or at least most of it.
THREE Basic Grey pads, including Lemonade!
Spellbinders petite oval dies
Papertrey Hibiscus Burst buttons and
TWO Magnolia images! (Tilda with basket of Lilacs and Cherry Tilda)
(Stone bunny is NOT included! He is guarding the candy until it is claimed!)
THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN RANDOMLY ON AUGUST 2 AT 9;00 AM EASTERN TIME!

ETA: I will ship internationally!
Then be sure to check back and see if you won or I'll choose someone else on Monday evening!

So please leave me a comment. No other links necessary, unless you want to (I hate extra requirements that take too much time!)
If you want to comment on something besides my card you could tell me your favorite embellishment or favorite time of day to stamp!
(I have to answer too because I'm sure you've noticed that I used limited embellishments- I love ribbons, buttons, flowers and that's about it! And I love to stamp in the very early morning!

Have a good Monday!

Cheryl, your cards bring me such inspiration! I so enjoy looking at every square inch of your cards. I have a hard time leaving any highlights with my coloring, so I've been 'teaching' myself by studying your style. :) I loooove to create either late, late at night or first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee! And I couldn't create a card without buttons or ribbon. Thank you soooo much for the chance to win this awesome blog candy!! Have a great week!

I love your cards and just book marked you to help me with my newest obsession--these cute magnolias. I have not been stamping or creating lately and wish I could just get back into the area and just do it. I enjoy reading all the wonderful blogs and sometimes a card will just make me run to my table and start working. My friends really seem to enjoy receiving a made card from me so I try to never disappoint.

My favourite embellishment is ribbon. I think there is always room to add some beautiful color of ribbon on a card.

Thanks for sharing your talent.

Ilove your Christmas Tilda card. It's a reminder to me that it will soon be time to start on my Christmas cards. I have just recently discovered Magnolis and think that this year my cards will revolve around them.

I like to stamp in the morning, (it's a way to delay the inevitable housework).....but sometimes I just keep going ...oh-oh someone wants supper.

Love the card - I think my favourite part is that it's non-traditional colours. I'm all for using anything but red and green this year :)

As for when I like stamping, it's really when the mood strikes. A lot of times it's later in the evening though.

I love your choice of pink for a Christmas card. I never would have thought of doing it, but when I look at it I definitely get the cold, wintry, feeling from it. I love everything Magnolia and your "coloring" (I hate to call it that, it really is so much more) is beautiful.

I love to stamp mid-morning. I'm an eary riser and do alot of paper work over coffee, read the blogs I follow, do some morning chores and then, with a clear conscience, head down to the basement to my "space" to stamp or scrap.

Linda S. said...

Hi Cheryl, Well it is plain to see why you need a vicious Bunny Wabbit to guard this candy. lol I only hope you ran his credentials through the FBI!! :) I so need some oval dies to use on my Magnolia's. Thanks for the chance to win some. Contratulations on your hit count. Linda S. in NE

I like ribbon, brads, love my dew drops, and now I have started to use flourishes! I do my stampin in the evening so I don't wake up anyone in the morning with the tapping! LOL!!!
