Open the Gate to Christmas!

Hello! Happy, happy Saturday! And it's time for another challenge on the JUGS blog! This week it's Gate fold cards! They are very easy to make, especially with a Scor-pal to score the perfectly spaced lines! Please see the Jugs Blog for all the details and the Design Team's fabulous samples! I used this cute mouse with his mint candy from Art Gone Wild! I bought this stamp at a show a couple of years ago and this is the first time it's seen ink! I have no idea why I neglected it for so long! I love it! I used paper from My Mind's Eye (I Believe) and from Fancy Pants on Poppy Red card stock. I did some faux stitching ( I should have done real stitching, but was too lazy!)
My ribbon is adhered with Scor tape along the back of the card so it won't fall off when untied.
The candy wrapper is covered with Glossy Accents and there are stickles on the mouse's hat

Whatever you're up to today I hope it's a great day for you!
Thanks so much for coming by! I appreciate you taking the time!
Cheryl

Cheryl, this is sooo cute! I love your color palette and the sweet mouse is colored beautifully! I also think the faux stitching added a really nice touch (though you think you should have actually stitched the border :) Great way to finish up your layout with a separate panel for your ribbon to adorn ♥
