Finally...time to post!

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in Western New York and it was a fantastic day yesterday! I was with Stampin' friends ALL DAY at the Western New York 2nd Annual Spring Fest. There was fun, stamping, laughing, talking, sharing and PRIZES! Tracy Harp deserves a medal for pulling off this amazing event for 75 lucky papercrafters! Cheers to Tracy!! I still have to go through all the loot I brought home, but here are some photos I squeezed in time to photograph before the event. It would have been just like me to package them up and forget to photo, but I have so many loyal visitors to my blog that I had to get some pictures for you! (And for me, so I can make these again!)
This was what I took for the gift swap at the end of the day. Claudia picked my gift and she seemed very happy with her prize. The small tin box (no idea where I got it now, but it's important to save these things! It match my paper perfectly, which was good because I made this Friday night and had no extra time to alter the box!) held a Tilda image from
Magnolia-licious!
I altered a $1.00 journal from Michael's. These are really neat because you can open the black spirals to get the cover off and slip on your hole punched new cover! I love doing these! The holes in the original cover are really square, but I used my regular 1/4" round punch and it works fine. Sometime I'll try my square punch.

Of course, the paper is from My Mind's Eye new collection called Grow. The colors are perfect for this Dragonfly Tilda. Diana has these stamps coming in soon!

Tilda is colored with my copics and she is large, but still fits on the largest size of my petite ovals. Lucky for me! I've got to get out and do a little yard work, but I hope to stamp some today. Being with all those wonderful women yesterday has gotten my creative juices flowing!
Thanks to my friend Lisa (lakind) for getting us there. It was so good to see Tracy, Diane, Michele, Lynn and so many others and to meet Rose and Susan and so many others!
Lisa and I gave our little copic marker demo and let the gals try them out. We loved sharing with such great women.
Thanks to Greg and others for manning the kitchen and putting my salad together for me! Lunch was as good as the rest of the day!
Better go!
More soon!!
Cheryl
IF you have any questions about the above project, please ask in your comments and I will happily answer. The template for the box is one of Lauren's My Timeless Template for sale at Papertrey Ink.

Dear Cheryl, I always enjoy seeing your latest creation. You never disappoint me for following your blog. You are a lucky gal to have stamping events near you. I don't think Alabama (atleast in the area I live in) has a clue as to how popular stamping is. If they saw your blog they would know what they are missing!Sending my prayers for Gods blessing to you.
