CCC-Pumpkins!

Happy first of October!! I love everything about October-the weather cools (but isn't cold!), sweaters come out, the leaves on the trees are so beautiful, crisp, sunny days, colorful mums-I love it all! This is a perfect challenge for this time-Coloring Pumpkins with copics! I HAD to do more than one pumpkin on my card!! See details at the Copic Creations Blog. (If it's not up yet, it will be soon!) This challenge is being sponsored by Christine at All That Scraps! Thank you! I got the digital download for the pumpkin (only $2.25!). Then I just kept copying and pasting it onto my Word document until I filled the page. I changed the sizes of the TWO pumpkins in the download so I got all different pumpkins when I printed it out on my Neenah Classic cardstock! Neat, huh?

I always start with a more yellow shade to color pumpkins, rather than orange. Then I layer oranges in the shadowed areas until I get the color I want. I use my light markers (from he last release of new colors) to blend with. They're the ones with 0000 after the letters.

My card is 51/2" x 51/2" to accommodate ALL my pumpkins!
