Hi everyone! Sorry I've been absent a couple of days! Life got in the way of my stamping time!
Today's post is a photo album or mini scrapbook if I put more time into it!
I have these photo holders that I got from a friend a few years ago.
I make a "cover" to insert in the front and one for the back insert. The remaining photo inserts can hold at least 20 photos! Or a mini scrapbook page could be made to insert into each one after the photo is added.
Here I"ve made my cover with Toys on Wheels from Angel's Landing. I used Basic Grey Lemonade paper to guide my coloring with copic markers.
Here is a picture of what the photo album looks like with my 'cover' inserted. Even the bow fits nicely, and doesn't look too mushed.
I love these because they can be carried in a purse (by a new grandma, for example) and nothing gets yucky from being in her purse.
I made a couple for a for the friend that I was a secret Santa for last year. She has one for each of her daughters. She put pictures in the little albums that the girls would enjoy looking at. Don't kids love seeing pictures of themselves when they were even smaller!
Imagine them for pictures of faraway relatives that you want your children to remember! Perfect for little hands!
Well, thanks for visiting toda. I hope you've been inspired to create something!
For more inspiration, please check out today's other ideas from the Angel's Landing design team on the blog! I know they'll be great!
Oh yes, Ihaven't heard frommy Blog Candy winner so you know what that means?! I'll be choosing again later today!
Please check back!
Cheryl

Love this precious elephant on the colorful Lemonade BG!! So bright and fun!! What an adorable photo album!!
Beautifully crafted as always!!
Each week I marvel at your coloring skills, Cheryl. Take the wheels, for example. Instead of coloring them solid and flat, you've added highlights and sparkle. Such a lovely detail.
What a sweet way to welcome a new baby! This is a great way to show off baby's first pics! Or to use for a grandparents brag book. You totally amaze me with your coloring skills. Love the colors you used on the image as well as the dp you used. The elephant image from AL is so adorable!
Hugs,
Alma =)
