Thoughts and prayers

Hello! Sympathy cards are really challenging for me. I usually end up buying them, but it seems like I've needed a lot of them lately. I got my inspiration from the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast this week. The sentiment is from a Clear set over at Sweet 'n Sassy stamps, called Springtime Tulips. It's very popular right now to stamp your sentiment on a nestability shape and use it as your focal point. I think the monochromatic flowers accentuate the sentiment very nicely. And, yes, that is the same Sizzix embossing folder that I used in the last post. I've been running them through my Grand Calibur and, WOW, does it ever make a deep impression! My flowers and leaves are various punches from River Rock with the leaves sponged with a bit of Certainly Celery.
Here's the link to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog for daily inspiration from the great design team! Thanks for coming by today! Wishing you great things today!

Hugs, Cheryl

  3. This is a very lovely sympathy card. I'm the same way, they are very hard for me to make. I think I've only ever managed to make 1 in the 4 years I've been stamping.
